A historic building perfectly located on the beach by Bathsheba in front of well known break Parlours, an easier less heavy wave that sits just round the corner from world famous Soup Bowls.  The East Coast of Barbados is wild and uncrowded, perfect for a relaxing trip enjoying the Bajan style and great surf.

LOCAL BREAK

The main two local breaks are Parlours and Soup Bowls.  Soup Bowls is great on its day as a right hander reef break that can get heavy, hollow and fast when the swell picks up.  It almost always has a wave, but the range is huge from small and fun to big and heavy.  At low tide it gets shallow and pretty spicy even for the braver among us.  The Rip across the bay can also be strong taking you over shallow reef and into breaking waves which is best to avoid.  Parlours is a less intense wave breaking in the next door bay in front of the hotel.  It can be a big paddle but it is less punishing once out back than its fierce nieghbour.
