5+ years

Yes, the majority are surfers
What do you do to accommodate the special requirements of surfers, like board storage, local shops for surf gear, travel to local spots?
Each room has an outdoor board rack. We recommend 2 surf schools (Meninas do Mar and Bibe Surf) and there are several rental places.
We help each person individually depending on each person’s needs, with regards to location, rental, lessons, etc.

All the time 🙂 – however bigger waves are during our winter (June, July and August)

There are lots of beaches in and outside town to enjoy as well as waterfalls and mangrooves to visit, or other activities such as ziplining, diving, etc.
There are also a number of day trips to beaches, waterfalls, rafting and snorkling.
Finally, during high season we also offer spa services at the pousada.
How does your hotel/resort fit in with and contribute to the surfing community and local community?
We support all surf competitions (through money and room donation) and in addition we financially support 2 local professional surfers.
